$10,000 Soybean 100 Bushel Yield Challenge  

The Alabama Soybean Producers will give $10,000 to the soybean farmer that produces a 100 bushel yield on an Alabama field in 2016. If two producers make over 100 bushels, the award will be $6,000 to first place and $4,000 to second. If three growers make over 100 bushels, the award will be $5,000 to first, $3,000 to second and $2,000 to third. Contest entry must be at least 10 continuous acres. Contestant may select the best 10 acres in a soybean field actually larger than 10 acres and enter this hybrid. The entry can be anywhere in Alabama. The land entered in the contest must be owned or leased by the entrant. Entries must be submitted by July 21, 2016 to Dr. Dennis Delaney, 119 Extension Hall, Auburn University, AL 36849, or Harvest report forms must be submitted to Dr. Delaney by no later than seven days after the supervised yield check or no later than November 21, 2016.
